About me

professional headshot
Hi! I am Noelle. I am a mom of three little ones, a wife of a doctoral student, and an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist. I graduated with both my bachelor and masters degrees from Auburn University. War Eagle! Right now, I work part-time as an SLP with children at a Capital Area Speech Therapy. If you ask my kids, they would tell you that I “help children talk and do fun stuff at work”.

Outside of work, I stay very busy with these cuties. They are super cute but they definitely keep me on my toes. L is 5 and began kindergarten this year. E is 3 and is quite a handful. M turned one in September and is beginning to show her own silly little personality too. We spend a lot of our time outdoors. We love to explore parks and nature trails, go swimming, and go camping.

I hope to help you learn more about speech and language development and disorders. I will also share ways you can encourage language development and communication in day to day activities at home. Please leave comments, questions, and suggestions for topics that you would like to know more about. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love your sensory room! I have a practice in atlanta and am looking for a system that can accommodate multiple attachments such as the one you have would love to know who designed yours.

Thanks! This is a Fun Factory Sensory Gym. We love it. I think they are based out of South Carolina (not for sure). I do know they travel all over installing these gyms. Let me know if you can’t find them. I’ll be happy to get you info.
